Being an Anti-Racist Educator
Every educator at Maryland Smith has a duty to do the work it takes to be an anti-racist educator. This collection of resources is an incomplete starting point for educators to begin this work. The Robert H. Smith Diversity and Inclusion Office webpage should be visited frequently for resources, events, and guidance. Additionally, #UMDsolidarity events can be found on the UMD Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) site. Creating an inclusive and anti-racist classroom is difficult, unending work. However, you cannot become an excellent educator without doing the work.
